March 2020 we watched the world change, helpless, shocked and often in denial, hoping that we were living a bad dream and at some point soon we would wake up, and the world would be normal again. 
Have you tried the usual weight loss groups but been disappointed with the support and education you receive? Do you struggle with motivation or confidence? Would you like to have the basic nutrition knowledge to help with weight management and the factors that support this? Then this group is here to help. 
 
We are excited to announce that after 2 very successful pilots we are launching a new Holistic Weight Management Programme for the lovely people of Shrewsbury and surrounding areas on Monday 10th September. 
 
Snowdrop House and A Healthy Home are so thrilled to have been able to have our latest Happy Heads, Happy Hearts Children's Mindfulness course at Shropshire Cat Rescue. It is specifically designed for children to mindfully explore thoughts, feelings and emotions, without fear of judgement or criticism. 
 
 
This blog is dedicated to my Step Dad Rob (Bob as he was known as to many), my Uncle Idris, Nigel Bundy and to those who I carry ribbons for on my journeys, always loved and never ever forgotten.

So, have you ever had a brilliant idea, got on board with it, convinced some friends to join in, then wondered why you thought it was a good idea in the first place?! Hmmm that’s where I am now, so let me explain about this “brilliant idea” of mine. Myself and 2 amazing friends of mine are going to tackle Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, otherwise known as ‘The 3 Peaks Challenge’, it doesn’t end there…. 
 
 
This blog is dedicated to the thoughts of a woman who survived abuse and PTSD. It is very difficult to stand up, and the author hopes that this will reveal some of the hidden thoughts that goes with dealing with abuse and consequently PTSD. If you are, or think you may be suffering with abuse, or PTSD, please do reach out to someone, even if it’s not us!

A busy mind can be many things, on the plus side it can help us to be productive and enables us to 
get a multitude of tasks done, it fuels us with information to take on new challenges and experiences and constantly aims for us to get the most out of life (or at least that’s what we think!).
