Snowdrop House in Shrewsbury, was originally created as a well-being clinic, specialising in Mindfulness, NLP Coaching, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Exercise. The clinic helped people overcome mental health issues, such as anxiety, stress, low mood, trauma, PTSD, fears and phobias.  
In 2020, the world changed. Like so many of us, Snowdrop House needed to change and evolve with theses challenging times. Whilst there was still demand for services, it became harder to run mental health sessions for clients.  
Luckily, the activity sessions were able to continue online and as lockdown eased, classes started outdoors again, keeping clients mentally and physically well. There are always plenty of smiles from the groups, everyone is made to feel more than welcome.  
Snowdrop House teamed up with a gift company in 2019, they created a range of well-being gifts, designed to spread kindness and help people during challenging times. 

With a background in both corporate life and specialist nursing care, Christina brings a unique combination of skills and experience to her well-being practice.

In Christina's own words: 

"20 years of my career were spent within the health care industry, with many years fulfilled in the rewarding position as a specialist Maxillo-Facial Nurse, I worked with head and neck cancer, and trauma patients at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, my work came to a natural end during restructures within the health service. I was ready for a fresh challenge and took on a new role within a corporate environment, it was within that high pressured corporate world, where I worked as a Managing Director of construction company, I noticed that stress levels ran high not just in myself, but with my colleagues and professionals amidst my network. On top of the work-life stresses, I experienced some close family bereavements in a short space of time, which made me reevaluate what was truly important to me. I realised, that I was missing the nursing and caring aspect of my previous career, so felt keen to maintain an involvement in something where I could help people overcome the stresses of modern life and make positive changes, that's when I began my training as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Mindfulness teacher, NLP Coach and Fitness Instructor." 
“On my search for the right solution to manage the daily work and life stresses in effective and positive ways, it was through Mindfulness, that I was able to achieve this. I spent some time learning how to be mindful, it was one of the most important practices that I have brought into my life, I am more efficient, relaxed and in tune with my work and day to day life, I now have the ability to manage stress in a more positive and helpful way, this was the start in gaining my qualification as a Teacher/Practitioner in Mindfulness .”
